Welcome
Welcome to my practice. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in Washington State. I provide a full range of mental health services, including individual psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, and consultation services.
I see adults, teenagers, and children facing a wide variety of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. In our work together, we will collaboratively define the areas you want to work on, which can range from learning new coping skills to addressing unhelpful relationship patterns. I see my role in our work together as active, facilitating your innate desire to grow, explore, change, and heal. I will help you address your concerns, set realistic goals, and find solutions to improve your quality of life.
I specialize in helping individuals overcome the effects of abuse/trauma, assisting individuals heal from emotional eating patterns, and treating helping professionals (healthcare providers/emergency first responders) for secondary trauma, burn-out, and compassion fatigue. I have extensive experience working with children and teens, as well as parents who want to learn skills to manage parenting challenges and strengthen their relationship with their child(ren). In addition to individual therapy, I offer psychological evaluations services. I also provide clinical consultation for mental health professionals and business consultation for helping professionals.
I received my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Social Relations at the University of New England. Before I opened my private practice in 2008, I worked in a diverse range of settings, including outpatient clinics, primary care offices, and child day treatments centers. As a result, I am skilled at collaborating with various professionals, such as physicians, teachers, psychiatrists, and other health care providers in order to coordinate care.
